EDUARDO CAMPOY
(León, 1955)

Cinema & Television Producer and Director. He is currently advisory member of DAMA (Audiovisual Media Author's Rights), EGEDA (Audiovisual Producers' Rights Management Entity), FAPAE (Audiovisual Producers' Rights Management Entity) and member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Film Academy.

From 1999 to 2003 he was President of FAPAE and Director of the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade ICEX. He was also member of the Board of Directors of ANEPA (Audiovisual Production Companies National Association).

He was President of the Spanish Film Academy.

He is currently Managing Director of the Cinema & Television Production Company DLO Producciones (Day light on), which has produced "El Angel de Budapest" ("The Angel of Budapest"), one of the most successful TV movies in Spain in recent times. DLO has also produced the tv movie "Mario Conde, los días de gloria" ("Mario Conde, the glory days") and the tv series "Familia" ("Family"), both for Telecinco channel.

Now is shooting the series "Las Aventuras del Capitán Alatriste" ("Captain Alatriste"), based on the books by Arturo Pérez Reverte. Concerning most inmediate projects, DLO is also preparing the series "Lucas Corso y el Club Dumas" ("Lucas Corso and the Dumas Club") for TVE channel.

He managed in BOOMERANG CINE the Film and Tv movies Production activity for Boomerang Group. He produced the film by Agustín Díaz Yanes entitled "Solo quiero caminar" ("Just walking"), played by Diego Luna, Ariadna Gil, Elena Anaya and Pilar López de Ayala; the tv movie "Farmacia de guardia" (Antena 3 channel) and the original musical theatre play "A", by the famous musician Nacho Cano.

As General Manager of DRIVE CINE he has produced the following motion pictures: "Hormigas en la boca" ("Ants in the mouth") by Mariano Barroso and played by Eduard Fernández, Ariadna Gil, Jorge Perugorría and José Luis Gómez; "Un franco 14 pesetas" ("Crossing borders"), by Carlos Iglesias and played by Carlos Iglesias and Javier Gutiérrez; "Café solo o con ellas" ("Love expresso"), by Álvaro Díaz and played by Alejo Sauras and Elena Ballesteros; "Santos", by Nicolás López and played by Willy Toledo, Javier Gutiérrez, Leonardo Sbaraglia and Elsa Pataky; And the following tv series: "Profesor en la Habana", "Manolo y Benito Corporeision".

Eduardo Campoy previously headed Grupo Cartel, a group of over ten companies covering all activities in the sector. As producer of Cartel he has shot almost 70 feature films, a dozen of tv movies, more than 30 short films, documentaries and some of the most large audience television series. He produced the animation feature film "Los Reyes Magos" (The three wise men"), a 7 million euros production highly successful in the box office, and "My Fair Lady", which was one of the first musical plays released in Spain.

He has received countless awards in many international film festivals, 92 Goya nominations and 20 Goya awards.
